September 07 un intervista ad un amicoThe project of a book about china has long being in my mind,after 9 years of china i think i have something to say.And so right now I'm working about a book,not about china but about chinese people,people who make this country so interesting for me,people of all kinds,mostly friends but not only.
Henry,the successfull business man married but with a secret;Wang,the ambitious guy who tries to change his life in shanghai; Paul,an interesting exsample of chinese post-cultarl revolution buddism,SunZL:from being exploited in a company to becoming theboss of your own,etc etc.
E' nel 2001 che WANG arriva a Shanghai dalla provincia del Jiangxi,nel pieno del boom che la citta stava attreversando.
Where were you living that time?
At that time I've rent an apartment in qibao,minghang area (a district in shanghai, at that time there wanst anything,quite undeveloped,a suburb. Now the area has become an industrial cluster,big food company moved there in the recent years)..................
